The NERPS copyright does not give you permission to encorporate parts of
it into other manuscripts.

You are, of course, going to get in touch with each of the
authors of the NAGEE and NERPS articles individually to ask permission to
use their information, correct?
Until you do, let me officially say that the NERPS submissions I
have made are _only_ for distribution in the NERPS document(s) to be
released by Robert A. Hayden, under the agreements laid forth in the
appropriate sections of the NERPS FAQ. Other forms of distribution may
be possible, but you must contact me first.

Hey, Ken, don't take it too hard, I've got -tons- of stuff you can use that I
have not considered submitting to NERPS for exactly the reason that Robert
stated:

What can I say, I am one of the *few* remaining people who actually lives out
the words "Information wants to be free"

Hang on. I didn't say that information doesn't want to be free. If you
read the NERPS copyright, it says you can copy the ENTIRE manuscript
without paying any royalties, but that each individual artical is the
property of the original writer (and thus, is NOT specifically under the
copyright of NERPS). So if someone wanted to use, say, the teleport
spell, they would have to contact doom for permission. Now, if doom gave
his okie-dokie, then go for it, but to just rip stuff from other
publications is a gross violation, IMHO.
