I just got done reading the SRII rule book and I have a few questions. Not
about the rules about about the accessories. First thing is Sourcebooks. I
have read that "Some of them are not worth the paper they are printed on."
Which ones would you recommend? (I got SRII, London & Seattle books as a
package, only $30.00!).

The other problem I have is adventures. How do the published ones rate?

I was think of making my own but am having some trouble. A few friends have
suggested everything from hunting T-Rex's to fighting a corporate war between
Nintendo and Sega. What do you suggest?

Here are the sourcebooks that I find the most useful. The Street
Samurai Catalog is good for getting an idea what those weapons really look
like. The Neo-Anarchists Guide to North America, gives you a good idea
what North America is like today. The Neo-Anarchists Guide to Real Life
is a good book for security information and for fashion (though that is
likely to change). Shadowtech is a great sourcebook for cyber and of
course bioware. Both of the paranatural animal guides are also very good.
IMHO, don't get, sprawl sites, DMZ, or The Rigger Black Book. BLECH!

As far as adventures go, FASA GENERALLY does a good job of writing them.
The best ones I have run have been Mercurial, Dreamchipper, and the
Harlequin series (though this one is very high power by the end). Some
are really bad like Imago, and One Stage Before.
