take each of them seperatley on a mini adventure. This can be anything from the
Stuffer Shack hit to a small run. Bar room fights are also good. This way you
get to break them in. As to mages, I personally try to make newer people Sam's
since they are the easiest to play, but a new guy I am introducing is playing a
hermetic female elf mage - so HE will be a little confused for a while.
Ohh - Phys Ad are good to play too at first.
As to the TIR campaign - 1. use the more metahumans rule. the A priority is
made for use to have humans fit the popultion standard. Since the population is
mostly meta - you us the more meta rule. Aslo you might even want to put humans
at priority D because there are so few of them.
Also since TIR is a hard place to run - you might want to make the characters
with double A priorities (change E to A) (the DM I co with did this), this makes
it so that you can say they are fairly experienced runners and make the runs
harder (he didn't let the more meta rule in though - so I took a human).
It actually works out to be fun. Oh - the other reason he did this was that one
of the players was using a character from another game. the character is a
grade 0 init.
