Hi there!
I'm new to this list.
What do we do?
Any topics currently going around?
Is there an Faq?
Where?

I've been playing shasowrun for a few years now and have a lot of ideas.
I hope this mailing list can help with some more!

Obviously...(welcome, and expect this kind of sarcasm from many
angles- it's just how some of us are, nothing personal. You've been
warned. <g>).

We talk about Shadowrun and read the FAQ before posting(see? I just
can't help myself). <g>

Always(ye Gods! it's everywhere... sorry guys, I hear club soda

Yes(thanks for asking).

Then post them- but read the FAQ first, por favor(*trying futilely
to wipe up the remaining sarcasm*).

We shall see.

<Psst... Hey, Bull! It's another one!>

>What do we do?

We talk. Lots. :) About Shadowrun generally (well, that's the idea)...
about lots of things usually:):)

>Any topics currently going around?

Several, the exact extent of which I'm unsure of. The best way to answer
this one is to spend an hour or two waiting to see what pops up in your
mailbox:) Give it time.

>Is there an Faq?

Oh, most definitely. And (no disrespect intended) you need to read before
you go any farther, lest you accidentally violate one of those most
sacresanct commandments contained therein:) Reading the FAQs will prevent
innumerable problems that you'd maybe run into otherwise (like forbidden
topics, posting guidelines, general netiquette, etc). So read them.

>Where?

http://coastnet.com/~dvixen/index.html
There's a link from the front page there to a ShadowRN page with FAQ
stuff linked at the bottom. Our resident FAQ-flunky is out of town at the
moment (which is probably why I can get away with calling her the
FAQ-flunky:) but if you've got other questions, I'm sure the Admin and
Gridsec will be happy to help (he said, pointing over in the direction of
the List Powers-that-be)

Well, welcome to ShadowRN, Demosthenes3. Have fun, don't cause trouble,
and all that:)

Not really.

Yes.

And to do that all you have to do is read the FAQ and follow the
policies and guidelines, and avoid posting irritating advice like,
"Avoid irritating GridSec?" :)

Oh yeah, and Welcome to ShadowRN!

As an addition to the above...emoticons have become important as of late,
we don't know you and just how wacky you really are so if you post
something that could be even slightly mangled into appearing "flamish" then
slap a smiley on that bad boy.

Why did that last bit feel like a slogan for national condom week? ;)

We can't help you either V. (now look what you did!)

Not sure if the Bull bot is still functioning this week, but he sums it all
up with the line "Hope you like mail."

I think i'm gonna cry *snuffle* he actually asked to read the FAQ
*sniffle again*

By all means post any ideas you wish, but plan on them being torn apart,
but in a good way, to see what makes 'em tick.

He didn't say *good* ideas Vagabond, just ideas. :)

Well, I suppose that would be my cue to say hi as well.

I've been playing Shadowrun since just before 2nd Edition came out,
and been running a small group since then. Demos is one of my players.

Not a whole lot to say yet. This should be interesting though.
