I have the New Seattle sourcebook, and I know it's not up to date, so could
someone give me just the main idea of what else has happened in New Seattle
( and who has died that's mentioned in the book ) so that I'm not feeding my
players drek?

There have been no major changes in Seattle since New Seattle was released.

Not to contradict one of the main developers of Shadowrun but.....
Um, are you sure?

Here's a few things I gathered from sourcebooks I own:
1. The Renraku Arcology was taken over by the Deus A.I.
2. The Corp War is over

And by the way, I love www.shadowrunrpg.com, it's in my favorites listings

Oh right. Brainscan contains the resolution to it, and you can probably
find summaries of what happened in the Brainscan Archive at
http://forums.dumpshock.com (near the bottom, in the dropdown box), or I'm
sure someone will summarize it here for you.

(I don't own Brainscan.)

The corporate war was over before New Seattle was published. All the corp
info in New Seattle is up to date, so feel free to play with them however
you like.
