Are there any good newsgroups related to Shadowrun? If so, what are they?

Thanks, chummers.

And verily, didst Matthew M. Teixeira hastily scribble thusly...

The only one I can think of is rec.games.frp.cyber (which is shared by
Cyberpunk, Shadowrun, and other cyber-ish games).

I haven't visited there in over 2 years though, so I can't say what the
atmosphere's like.

As a qualifier, I wouldn't go in there without a killfile.
Annoying posters you can pick out yourself (I have about a dozen in
there), but a few of the things you may want to kill:

2020 (CP2020, the other major CP rules system)
[CP] (same thing)
Talsorian (the company that makes CP2020)
Any thread with the word "Dana" in the subject (latest flamewar)

Aww.. I was going to let him experience the "wonders" of RGFC without any
warnings.

I find Dana sort of amusing, actually.. He goes from end to end of the
spectrum in such interesting ways.

But yeah, prepare to wade through flamewars and aother assorted crap to get
to anything useful, Shadowrun related, on rec.games.frp.cyber.

Oh, and Wordman has compiled a FAQ for the group, which you'll probably
find helpful. It's available at http://pobox.com/~wordman/rgfcFAQ.html

Thanks for all your help. I think I will stay away from the Newsgroup for the time being.
