Gang I need some input here. I am starting a shadowrun team (me as GM and
moderator). I need some ideas to get these 'baseliners' off the ground. I was
thinking of maybe revamping the original "adventure" from the first ed rules...

any ideas will be appreciated....

I have learn that when ever I try to run a made up adventure is to make it
simple. The players can always make the adventure more complex and usually do.

Think about it. A complex adventure that gets even more complex. A GM's
nightmare and extremely complex adventure.

The adventure in the First Edition Shadowrun Source isn't that good. First is
it a too well know adventure and second is it is a FASA adventure (I notice
that all FASA Shadowrun adventures go like this: A simply job, something goes
wrong that related to the job, and there a major conflict to end the adventure)
Some Adventures have some varity but usually flow the above plot line.

That my 0.02 Nuyen.

Try doing something simple & quick, like going off to kill somebody in
order to get paid by somebody else...the kind of thing you'd see in any
game system. Also, set it up so that it involves magic, decking,
fighting... something in each character's area of specialty. This will
get everybody (including yourself) used to how the game works. But
basically, have fun...Shadowrun is the game system with the most positive
points about it, of all that I've played.
