Does anyone out there know what Newspaper media are respected and known in
Seattle? I'm currently printing a Seattle Independent front page for my
players every game, with some stories detailing things in the world and how
they affect things.

Anyone out there use a specific newspaper and what. Also any hints tips
suggestions and funny stories involving newspapers in your games.

Most of the older style adventures have a Seattle DataFax or Seattle
Screamsheet or similar newsfax page or two in the back of them. I just copy
the style and format of these for my player handouts. Take a look in the
back of one and see what I mean.

All the major Seattle papers of today are online. Look at:

www.SeattleTimes.com (mainstream daily)
www.SeattlePI.com (mainstream daily)
www.SeattleWeekly.com (quasi-alternative weekly)
www.TheStranger.com (very-alternative weekly

Here is my opinion of the papers-
Times - very corporate, not great for news.
PI - better website than the times, used to be very GOP, much better now.
Weekly - yuppie news. But getting good on politics. More attitude.
Stranger - best events calendar, lots of attitude, good for some news.

I think the newspaper name from the back of the old adventures is based on
a real one, the Seattle Intelligencer or something like that.
