Well Okay It isn't a new PBEM but I just had quite a groovy idea for one. I
have just finished reading Corporate Shadowfiles And how about running a turn
based Pbem where you control a small (lets say second or third tier)
corporation, You get to say to your lackey "those dirty rats hire X, Y, and Z
and blow the Drek outa Facility ACB, Muhahahah The power!!!!". As for
mechanics you would have X number of other player and the gm who controls all
the other corps, (Yes that includes the big 8 WOO HOO!!!) This copuld also
lead to some kewl Idea's for runs, and also it would mean that istead of
starting the idea for a run, okay lets do a base attack or lets kindKnapp Mr.
Z you could start a run Okay lets blow up this facility casue that would mean
that Our stocks would sky rocket and we pay the unatributable assets in
company shares so we only have to pay them X and they would get 2X for a
sucessful run. Well you see how it works Suggestions?

So do I. I don't know that I have the capacity of thought right now to
actually participate (the revolting hot weather here makes thinking a
chore) but I'd love copies of the logs for corporate ideas for my own
games...

That's nice but only if someone will try to be a GM :-)
And it can be a little too complicated.
However, it's still a good idea !!

I'm feeling with you. That must be real hard, 30oC or more. :)
You should come around to Germany, 0o-5oC, rain, snow, quite lovely. With
this shitty weather you`ve got enough time to think (or not). :)

JESUS H CHRIST!!!
Gads, That was a mere inkling of an idea. But....as there is so much interest
I will see what I can put together. I was kind of thinking of putting down a
card game (Boo-Hiss ;) ) and try to sell it to fasa but I spose a PBEM would
be good enough. Okay then I spose to start with you'll need to tell me the
corps names, the type of things that they are into and other stuff like that,
I will set down formal Rules for corp generation in due time. I will have to
revise the rules. Okay I will post full rules in a few days.

I think it would be a good idea if the corps gain every round some
kind of movement/action points.
With these they can *buy* actions or new technologies, allies,
territory etc. They gain the action points by increasing their marjet
position, so they sell more products, gain more action points and so
on.
