of the sprawling Seattle Metroplex. Through the combined miasma of roiling
fog and choking pollution can be seen the smouldering remains of a 'Plex who's
police forces have lost all control. Denizens of the plex slowly trod through
the soup, many can be seen toting weapons of destruction. From broom handles
to shotguns, all manner of violence can be seen.
A solitary figure can be seen sliding out of an alley, the street light
glittering of his exposed teeth clearly visible through his evil smile...
'Ah... another victim...' he seems to say as he silently moves up on
another, much smaller figure. He slowly draws from his overcoat a wicked
looking blade, and quickly moves to attack!
Just as the predator leaps to assault his next victim, the victim seems
to sense... something. With uncanny speed, the victim spins and raises her
hands... 'Not tonight!' She screams as a blue energy erupts from her out-
stretched fingertips, striking the assailant in mid-leap...
The body slowly smoulders as its blood drains into the choked
gutter beside the street. The woman turns silently and is quickly swallowed
up by the enshrouding night...
