Can anyone with some of those extra rulebooks please tell me about some
drugs that are available in the SR world (and the details of how they work)?
I'm especially looking for something that gives bonusses to combat, and is
fairly addictive.

Man and Machine has a fairly detailed chemistry section

Kamikaze

Used as a battle stimulant, kamikaze adds +1 body, +1 quickness, +2
strength, +1 willpower and +1d6 to calculated Initative (and affect
calculated reaction and dice pools). Also provides pain resistance equal to
four levels of the adept power. Effects last 10 x 1d6 minutes.

When it wears off the user crashes and suffers -1 quickness and willpower
for 10 x 1d6 minutes and resist 6M stun with Body.

Repeated use of Kamikaze has a destructive effect on the users metabolism.
on top of the likelihood of addiction every 4 applications of the drug
inflict an automatic wound effect causing dmg to the characters
cyber/bio-ware

Cram (street drug)

Users add 1 to reaction and 1d6 to initative for the duration (12 hours -
body, minimum 1 hour). When it wears off user suffers equivalent Moderate
stun damage for a similar duraction

Rock Lizard Blood (awakened drug)

Grants the power of immunity (pathegons/Poisons) SR3 p.264
When immunity wears off character suffers a light physical wound. IF the
character already has a physical wound increase the Damage Level by one for
the duration.

Witch's Moss (Awakened drug)

Grants the critter power Paralyzing Touch.
Once the power wears off the characters arms become crippled and useless for
an equal duration. Apply a +6 modifier to any test involving the use of
arms.

Of course, there are many other drugs for SR, many of them listed in Gurth's
compendia.
Theer there are Cyberpunk drugs, RL drugs, etc.
