Yes, Atlanta's going for an expansion team. I thought that was next year,
but I may be wrong. Of course Atlanta will join that elite group of cities
with long hockey traditions like Phoenix and Tampa Bay. (Of course the
Calgary Flames used to be the Atlanta flames, but then again I'm old enough
to have actually gone to a Calfornia Seals game (go Devils!)).

D.

ps, The Nashville Whalers? I still can't get over it.

pps, Colorado over Jersy in the finals. Anyone want to take me on that?

ppps, anyone bitches about this thread I've got about 35 megs of
"Highlander" bs to sell them.

Never got the chance to see an actual game, but have been faithfully
watching the 'hawks for years.(at least they saved their playoff streak
tonight) When were the Seals in California, I've never even heard of them, then
again, it's California how good could they have been?

Not gonna happen. Columbus Ohio has a better chance and the only
staium they have access to is the Ohio State one, 5,500 seats. Minnisota's
gonna get the team, mark my words. Besides, who likes hockey in a state that
has never aven seen natural ice?

Colorado's going to fall apart in the playoff's. They haven't been
resting the key players, like Sakic, Forsberg, etc. They might take the
Blackhawks, but Edminton's going to the finals. (Remember the 80's?)

-The Immortal Mental- who's been scared stiff until the 'hawks won tonight. 27
years is a hell of a streak.
