Okay, hasn't everybody detailed this subject to death now???? How's this for
a thing of recollection? Bullet Barrier, once upon a time at least, and last
time I checked, stops all projectiles. Not just bullets, projectiles. Also,
the "bullets" had to be inward bound towards the bearer/target/recipient of
the spell, so NO, someone just casually walking by the magician would NOT set
off the spell.

Yes, it means you have to take a few considerations into hand when
thinking/allowing for this. If you don't, you quickly discover that the
rules for the game are abstract things (hence, why it's a game) and you can
only go so far into the "logic of things" before literally *ANYTHING* will
break down.

So, a magician with a Detect Bullets/Bullet Barrier anchoring upon his/her
person were to walk into a gun shop loaded down with all sorts of armaments,
NO, the barrier would not go up unless said projectiles were inward bound
towards the magician/bearer of the anchoring in a direct manner. Someone
picks up a gun and throws it *AT* the carrier of the anchoring item, then
perhaps it *MIGHT* go up at that time.

Also remember that someone handing a gun or pack of bullets at a magician is
NOT determining them to be projectiles in the direct sense either, as they
are not on their own "power" either.

Sweet Jesus, Mother Mary of God ... Bearer of the Final Trinity ... enough
folks ... asking a question for clarification is one thing, but this degree
of taking stuff apart is something else entirely.

There *ARE* times when you have to simply say, "hey, it's a game, this is how
it WORKS in the game" and let well enough alone already.
