Something for your weapons bags.

Everyone wants a polymer/ ceramic gun, but unless SR has got
ceramics that can take the multiple shocks without
microfracturing, your still gonna need metal

But if it has, then a completely nonmetalic gun is possible.
Cost a LOAD. but very useful.

But why not think alternative, instead of changing to a non
metal gun, change to a new weapon.

Pistol Crossbow.
Small, but a little bulkier than a pistol. Non Metalic quite
easily.
Bolts can be customised, with poisoned or exploding heads. Or
Tazer style capacitors. Or monolines. or glue bulbs and homer
signals.

Air rifle
Put on a High pressure barrel and tank. Up the poundage as far
as it will go. Load a steel ballbearing. Fit a suppressor.
Thats a 7M at least.

High Power catapults.
Don't laugh.
take it apart and no one will suspect it as a weapon.
Fire steel balls, or lead 'bullets'

Blowpipes
A 6' pipe can put a spring steel dart through 1/4" of wood.
thats gotta hurt. and you can drug it.

Compound Bows, crossbows, longbows, throwing stars/knives

CHOPPER
a Non Metal Gun will NOT hide from a 'DETECT-GUN' spell cast
by the airports/corp zones security mage.
