Why do you think I posted it? :) It's a model kit... Tamiya is a Japanese
firm that makes plastic models (no Ed, other ones :), PzKpfw is a German
abbreviation for "Panzer Kampfwagen," literally meaning Armored Fighting
Vehicle, but commonly translated as "tank," while Panther is the type of
tank, and "Ausf. G" is short for "Ausfuehrung G" or "Model
G." The "Late
model" refers to it having all-steel roadwheels instead of rubber-tired ones.
Oh, and I forgot to mention it's 1/35th scale :)

Satisfied? Then we can get back to our regular SR schedule :)

I looks pretty much german to me. As far as i read it, it's short for:
Tamiya Panzerkampfwagen Panther Ausfuehrung G (neuestes Modell).
This should be roughly translated to :
Tamiya tank "Panther" edition g (latest model)

I'm far from perfect <g>, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
