Don't forget to include a largish deductable, usually equal
to 10-20% of the value of the insured item. Lower deductables
dramatically increase payments.

Don't forget that insurance can be cancelled.

I'd penalize the runners based on how famous they were. :-)

It is possible for insurance to run 3-5x / year the cost of
the goods insured. "You want 40%/month of the value of my
vehicle for insurance???" "Well, our expert system, based
on the configuration of your vehicle and past driving record,
indicates that it has a half-life of about 40 days.."
