More importantly, how is the fact that ED is leaving the FASA fold
going to impact SR? Will Mike finally get to drop the whole
IM/enemy bit that has plagued him for all this time?

Actually, the Immortal elves idea STARTED in Shadowrun (I won't say by
whom). It was then a problem for ED developer Lou Prosperi to match ED's
future into the known SR facts (dragons, living races, etc.) As Mike said "ED
past has no impact on SR's future". UM yeah- well, at least, as far as Mike
is concerned, it wont, so yes, he can (and already had) stopped developing new
SR / ED ties. Nothing new there, actually. If its ALREADY part of SR, it
can't just "go away", but there's no need ever to explore it in FASA's SR
products, as long as no conflicts arise.
