How does Earthdawn relate to Shadowrun at all? I have read the Harlequin
adventures (granted, awhile ago), and I don't remember any connection to
Earthdawn at all! Can someone fill me in on how the two worlds are connected?

The short answer is that ED is SR's history. However, this connection
didn't exist when the first Harlequin adventure was published, because ED
probably wasn't even an idea yet at the time. By Harlequin's Back, ED had
been published, making the links fairly easy to spot if you know a bit
about both games.
