I have to agree. If you start making weapons like this available to your
mages there will be no reason for anyone to play anyother type of
character. another thing...if the Novastar is a specific spell focus you
failed to mention the fact that the mage purchasing the item would also
have to learn the spell the focus uses.

The system is not an ultimate weapon, it's designed primarilly to keep
the mage alive and running while the street sam's are filling the streets
with blood. If you think you can take on Fuchi and win with this piece of
hardware, we'll be seeing you in the obits the next day. It mainly put's
all of the needed equipment in the palm of your hands.
