Give it a Magic rating equal to its force (adjust upward if you think it'
Initiated, downward if it's taken Deadly wounds a lot) and just fill up
that Magic rating with physad powers. If you really want something like
this.

Not at all...
See, a phyad is someone who uses his Magic to fuse his physical powers, while
a spirit needs to deliberately manifest on the "normal" (physical) plane.
How could it center enough on this plane to gain PhysAd powers?
