Mystical attributions to numbers aren't limited to the number 6. There's
the trinity, the 4 corners of the world, pentagrams, hexes, lucky #7 and the
seven chakras of the body, 8 and nine have their own connotations. Even the #12
was regarded as more natural than the #10 because it divided in more ways than
the latter, making commerce easier.
As for AmerIndian traditions in Shadowrun being true manifestations of
modern legends, didn't everyone know that? Certainly, FASA has simplified many
legends and stories to forge an amalgram of Human Cvilization that fits
together in one world, but they didn't just make all of it up.
Symbols have as much significance as you give them. History is replete
with tales more exciting and grandiose than any we can concoct.
