It is probably something along the lines of a free action, however you could
argue it may be something that is automatic if the autonav believes that the
driver is making a turn or changing lanes to the right or left.

Hehe... I'm just picturing a rigger who's forgotten to turn the autonav off
trying to dodge machine gun fire in his car and wondering why he can't
shake their aim... and the CorpSec team cracking up as their swerves left
and right using his blinkers every time...
