apply a _negative_ modifier to the target number equal to the appropriate
skill rating, minus the ambidexterity skill. And it gives the example of a
person with a firearms of 5 and ambidexterity of 3. She gets a -2 modifier
to her target #. A -2 mod? This _improves_ the chances of hitting! And if it
is taken as negative mod is a disadvantage (ie a _positive_ target number
mod), then the rules are also screwed. As then, if you have a firearms of 5
and ambidexterity of 3, as above, the you have a plus 2 mod to your target
number. But, say you were a real sharp shooter, firearms 10, and had
ambidexterity 3, like our previous example. Then you would have a +7 mod.
Much less chance of hitting, and yet you are twice (more if viewed in karma
terms) as good as the other person.
