Once created, can a Barrier spell be moved, or reshaped? I cite the example
of the bullet-barriered mage on a motorcycle, for a precedent of a moving
barrier...

Perhaps only the 'personal' version moves?

Thoughts?

Where is this example? It's probably an Armor spell, not a Barrier spell.

Seth> Perhaps only the 'personal' version moves?

Hmmm... as far as I can tell, Barriers are "portable" assuming the object
they are cast upon is mobile. The operative thing is the object. Most areas
are not mobile, and so the Barrier won't move.

If you cast a Barrier at the mouth of a dark alley, an invisible wall would
cover just the mouth; it would not extend into the buildings themselves
because they are obscured by "astral shadows". The barrier will not move
unless you can move the buildings and the ground the barrier is cast upon.

If you cast a Barrier over the helipad of a luxury liner, trapping the
chopper there on the ship, the barrier would continue to move with the ship
as that is what the spell is cast upon.

This fits with the "electrical current" analogy of Shadowrun magic, that
any spell requires the "negative pole" (the casting mage) and the "positive
pole" (the target of the spell) exist in the same plane.
