died, by the hands of his sometime partner (and world's greatest
Munchkin/Min-Maxer/Power gamer/Wound Wailer rolled into one), Mr. White!
Johnny had been playing a little Joke on Whitey. He had a link to White,
and every now and then was tossing a very large (yet harmless) sleep spell
into him, so Whitey was having these black outs.
Eventually Whitey figured out what was happening and who was doing it
(Though everyone else around him figured it out first and wouldn't tell him
:)), so he decided to "get revenge" with a joke of his own...
He sent Johnny a Package that was in effect a Spring Loaded Boxing Glove to
bop Johnny in the face. He told Tinner to take whatever steps necessary to
make it "effective", so Tinner jazzed it up... The box had a Hand Sensor
that would only open to Johnny's hand print, was laced with orichalcum so
that Johnny couldn;t peek, had a rocket propelled guidance system so that
it hit witha bit of "punch" and wouldn;t miss, etc...
Well, when Johnny finally opens the box, after taking it to another island
to open in case it was a bomb, it smacks him square in the face. Tinner,
just joking, tells Johnny to resist 6D damage (Physical). He's surprised,
so no Combat Pool to dodge...
He then proceeds to roll all 1's...
All I know, is that *IF* this is real (Not sure just how serious Tinner and
Rusty are about this... They could be just getting revenge on McKenna, but
Rusty sure seemed Pissed :)), Bull is gonna track McKenna down and make his
life miserable before he kills him :]
Never a dull moment in Tinner's game... <sigh>
