Ok, condenced:

Danka. Actually, it's got a lot to do with my account being (rudely)
yanked without notice. However, like I said, I weaseled my way back.

But it's nice to be enigmatic, neh?

>(Not a net.cop, just a concerned citizen who doesn't want to see the list or
>Tyger's mailbox flooded...)

Too late. =(

>Ok, no big deal. As far as I understand, here's what happened:

>Tyger signed off last week cuz he thought he was losing his account.
It *WAS* lost, my account was thoroughly gone.
>He found out that he wasn't losing his account (ie, bribed someone :-)
I got it back, I found a back-door in the system :).
>He signed up again.
Call me maschochist.
>He posted.
As I usually do.
>He didn't realize he didn't set his distribution options to 'repro' and
> thus never got his postings back.
So it's been a while.
>He thought it didn't go through cuz he never saw it.
Nor did I get confirmation.
>He posted again.
Wouldn't you?
>He didn't see it.
Nor any confirmation (Deja VOO!)
>He sent me a message saying 'where's my postings?' to which I replied "uh
> . . . huh huh huh huh huh . . . like . . . what posting dude"
And that was about the vernacular too.
>I then told him to post it again "just to be sure"
This from the guru!
>He did.
...as I was told.
>I realized it was the same one I'd seen twice before.
And didn't tell me.
>I realized he musta forgotten to reset repro
I set it _after_ the second.
>I told him.
...in the Beav & B-Head method.
>He smacked his forehead and said 'duh'.
Actually, I have several people to do it for me, some in the Virtual World...
>Hundreds of little Faeries danced around in a circle singing gleefully before
> the were swallowed by a hungry fire-breathing dino-carp. *burp*
And the end result smelled like ancient dino-carp.

>The End

Thank goodness.

"It's not like talking with people. With people, anything can be said and
nothing matters. Words and words and words. You go to a party... people
sit around and say things. Anything. Just to talk. Put forth views and
debate them. Sometimes you get a new idea. Sometimes something changes"
