I made a mistake on my Ruthenium post. I said that the scanner was the
problem when I meant that the Ruthenium should not be able to scan the colors
and patterns accross its surface fast enough to blend it in as the rules say
they can for persons. The reaction time for the polymer just isn't fast enough
to handle it.

And I assumed that the reason you had to anchor a spell to an inanimate object
was because spell locks would not bond to anything without a true life force,
thus the highly Karma intensive Anchoring of spells. And I, as a player, would
not ever anchor a spell or even a lock to another person or a vehicle that did
not belong to me or was me. I don't like the idea of somebody kidnapping me
and doing a kick-butt ritual and melting my friends car from out from under him
or stealing the car and killing me with a ritual I noticed too late. Sorry,
but this doesn't feel right to me, so IMHO, it is not an option. And anyone
ever figure out a monetary value for the karma it would take to anchor the Imp.
Invisibility on the car(or Panzer)?

And I wasn't wondering about the technology to do noise cancellation of engine
and road noise, but if it could be adapted to operate OUTSIDE the vehicle, and
if so, what limitations would this system have? And think about it, add this
"Active Aural Masking-External" to the Ruthenium Polymers and you have a car
that can't be seen optically quite as easily(although the signature wouldn't
change at all, so sensor equipped vehicles wouldn't be affected) and that
ABSORBS those pesky Ultrasonic Sight emissions :) .

I kind of doubt this... The reaction time of the polymer is less than one
hundredth of a second. Travelling at 600 mph, this means you can change your
colours every 267 meters. Terrain (in general) doesn't change at that rate. So
you could have a general camo job.

But, as has been pointed out, this wouldn't do all that much for you. After
all, at 600 mph, you leave a nice dust trail. :)
