Well, with all the hoopla surrounding this years Gen Con, between the bad
press (and WOTC) and the massive amount of listmembers going, another major
Con has been overlooked a bit. That Con would be Ohio's own, Origins.

Origins is being held the 2nd-5th of July in Columbus, Ohio. Is anyone
from the list going to be attending? I will be there this year, and looks
like I've gotten drafted into helping out with some of the FASA tournaments.

Hope to see some of you there!

I'll be lucky if I can scrounge enough money to go to GenCon by the
time August rolls around. No way I'll be able to make Origins :\

You know I'm going. I won't be there except Saturday and maybe
Sunday. I would love to play in the tournament, or help you out if
you need it.

Nope, sorry. :( I'll be visiting friends in New York over that weekend,
and besides, there's no way I could afford TWO major trips, what with
Gencon. However, if someone wants to start a "Send Jett to GenCon" fund,
I won't object...:p

I'm planning on it. It wouldn't be as much of a stretch for me to go to
Origins and GenCon as it would for some of the members, because I live in
Columbus.
Depends on how things work out right now, though. But I have been enthused
about participating in a game with Bull.

I'd love to do to either, or both, but I can't afford it <not even by a long
shot>. Maybe someday.. I promised myself that I would go to GenCon
at least ONCE before i die :)

Hehe.... I think this is a pledge that marks a true gamer... at some
point they vow to visit Gen Con before they die...

<grin>

Kind of ironic that the convention center used to be called the MECCA
Center...
