Whats wrong with multi-talented characters. I'd love to work with a
rigger that isn't dead meat the minute he gets out of his vehilce or has
his remote deck shot, or a decker that can actaully amount to something on
the job.

He said multil-multi task. We all know the types. Ghoul Satyr Rigger Otaku
and Samurai/Decker/Rigger/Adepts. Being balanced is fine (a decker should be
able to handle himself in a fight and a samurai should be able to do things
other than kill, like negotiate and maybe have electronics training), but
some vets from SR1 just take it too far out of a power-crazed insanity that I
know well.

(My still living character Ticktock is my own version of this. He can do
everything imaginable. Okay, he's not an Otaku and he's not a meta, but any
of the character classes he can match. He decks at Comp-10, fights at
Unarmed-14, rigs at Car-10, and casts spells at Sorcery(Spellcasting)-14 -
initiated to Grade 8-. I blatantly power-gamed him into the most powerful
character I could since the little mage he started out as in '89 managed to
survive over and over for no apparent reason. He can be done and he
shouldn't be able to be done. But I still like the bastard.)
