O.K., I know this is probably as old as VR2.0, but it's about to come up in
my campaign and I need to know how you guys have handled it. VR2.0 is vague
about how Otaku can store downloaded information (if at all). Basically,
one of my players is an android (even though she doesn't know it), and I've
simulated her ablitilty to interface with the matrix by giving her the
stats of an Otaku. Well, she finally discovered that she has a latent
ablility to kick hoop in the matrix and now she's starting to use her
decking abilities. Sooner or later she's going to ask me about storage, and
I want to know how you folks have handled it.

Thanks,
D.

ps, before you start asking me about how I justified androids in SR and
what rules I use, let me just say two things; I tend to play extremely
loose and fast with the rules, and I never, never, let a silly thing like a
rule get in the way of a good story. So there.

Well, for an otaku, I'd say virtually unlimited storage. However, we're
not really talking about an otaku, so I'd say give her a reasonable
amount of storage memory, then stick with that:)
