Damien Knight to Research Deptartment: "What the hell are you buffoons
doing??? Heavy Pistols sales are taking a nosedive!"

Research: "It's not our fault ... Their effectiveness has been
mysteriously reduced. Test have shown that competitor's models have been
reduced as well. We can find no reason for the drop in performance,
sir."

MCT Research Unit 12 (Seattle) to Corporate Office : Sirs, we apologize in our
ability to determine the sudden failing of all spell locks within the
corporate holdings. We do apologize, and our persistent efforts to correct
the matter have found some benefits. New material is appended to this
memorandum, and utilizes standard stage-8 encryption methods. We do however
like to consider the brighter side of these mysterious changes in the
universe.

No more Fireballs dropping in unexpectedly at corporate shareholder's annual
picnics.
