Hey, guys,

I was wondering if anyone out there in SR land was
planning on starting a new PBeM soon, or had a vacancy
in an ongoing one.

I've got a new character I recently developed and I'd
very much like to play with him. In a game. No, I
don't mean it like that. Get your minds out of the
gutter, damn it!!!

I might be starting one. But a warning, it will be my
first GM experience. Also, I don't have all the
sourcebooks ( need Rigger and VR.. . hopefully getting
VR ) Also,
it will have a twist, which may not be good for your
character. I'm going to give you amnesia and
mysterious cyberware. Right now, it looks like you'll
have a few
months of memories, but nothing before that. Right
now, I'm not sure if I'll give this a try or not. Got
to see who would play in such a game first. But I'll
keep you in
mind if I do start it soon. :)

Thanks, Jim - I don't know how well the character
would fit in, though. Basically, he's an ex-ganger
whose gang recently got wiped-out by some rivals who
were actually Mob-backed. He found out about the
payoff and hit the Mob courier (not realising he was a
Mob courier) and got away with a cool mil. He figured
that, with no gang left, he might as well do something
for himself and went out and bought a whack of cyber
(and a tiny bit of bio) - the big purchase was a beefy
skillwire system (rating 6, with a CED 6 on one of the
chipjacks). Now his gimmick is that he's a fresh-faced
kid as far as the shadows go, but, when jacking, he
surprises even himself with what he can do. :)

I suppose you could age him slightly to account for
the amnesia/mysterious cyber (he's only been in the
shadows for a couple of months), but that kinda takes
away the wide-eyed innocent fun. Ah well.
