Since this came up a while back on this list, I figured I'd ask you guys...
Sorry for the OTness...

Anyways, when does the new season of B5 start on TNT? Also, when are they
showing the reruns of the first 4 seasons? Anyone know what Day/Time?

Thanks

I couldn't give you exact times since I receive the show from across
the boarder in Washington state but Season #5 should start in the
first or second week of October, with seasons 1-4 beginning in
January.

Here are the dates according to my source, which I hold to be highly accurate.

-Q

B5 begins the first weekend in January on TNT with a newly-filmed Prequel "In
the Beginning" (covering the Earth-Minbari war) followed by a newly-edited&
hopefully better version of the pilot. Those will air on Sunday, Jan. 4 (not
sure what time but the Midwinter website probably says), then the reruns of the
series begin the following day, and will air Monday thru Friday at (I think) 7
pm eastern. The 5th season shows will air (straight through with *NO* reruns -
YAYYY!) on Mondays at (I think) 10 pm eastern and repeat on Saturdays I don't
know what time.

<SNIP!!!>

You forgot one extremely essential bit of info in that otherwise
accurate breifing. Season Four finishes its last (I think) 4 episodes in
October, but I'm not sure whether it'll be on TNT or the stations that
have been carrying it. And rumor has it that Joe is considering releasing
the Season 4 Series Finale that they filmed before they knew if they'd
get a Season 5 as a special thingy. Who knows.

IIRC the last few Episodes of Season 4 will be on the current stations but
after that its all on TNT, reruns and new alike. *runns off and checks
the lurkers guide... runs back* Yep thats what the letter from TNT
Programing said. And they also say that they filmed a new Session 4
finale once TNT picked up Season 5 and the old finale will be used as the
Season 5 finale. JMS wrote it so it would work as eather because the fate
of season 5 was in debate at the time. if you want to look for yourself
the letter is at

An excellent resource for B5 info and schedules (synops & loads of other
stuff!!!) on the net is the lurker's guide: http://www.midwinter.com/lurk

That's the place to look for WHATEVER you might need...

At the moment, we're still in the middle of season 4...
(Just saw "The illusion of truth" last wednesday...)

And WE'LL be getting B5 (season 5) on Channel 4 as usual, so no need to
invest in cable or satallite TV...

True, unless what you need happens to be Claudia Christian's side of the
reason she's no longer on B5, in which case you might want to try
http://www.draal.com, and follow the links for the Women of Babylon 5.
(You'd be amazed by some of the stuff dear old Claudia's been up to....
=) )

Greetings!!!

Actually I believe the site (or at least the sister site) provided her
response. They may have taken down the info, since there is no going back.

Personally I am tired of the fans reaction to her departure. There was no
conspiracy agianst her, she didn't sign and that was that. Too many of the
other show actors have backed JMS up on what actually happened.

I am very happy that her career is continuing as she is very talented. I like
Claudia a lot, and I will miss her on the show-but the show will still
continue without her.

And if there are those of us that feel she was wronged by the studio and
everyone is lying I offer this:

"Truth is a three edged sword; thier side, your side and finally the truth
itself."

The truth is most likely in the middle of the two retellings of what
happened. Let's leave it at that and get back to Shadowrun.

Thanks for listening.

IIRC, that was the prison episode? If so, you guys just caught up to us,
and we've been twiddling our thumbs waiting for October so we can get out
of withdrawal and have our fix. =)

Lucky bastards. OF course, Claudia is still gone, which really upsets
me, but there's nothing I can do.

There's no especially about it. Either it's relevant or it's not. I am
personally sick of tons of OT posts, but others seem to disagree, or they
wouldn't be all over this list.

Okay, list.member.grumpy, calm down. A two word descriptor does NOT
qualify as a god-damned spoiler, I'm sorry, but that's life the universe
and everything. If I told you all about the prision and why it's there,
that'd be a spoiler. Get over it Spike.
