I don't know much about Cyberpunk Genre History but According to my book
on SF history I got for my birthday (Thanks Mom. :), Gibson did NOT
invent cyberspace ... merely gave it a name. What I'm guessing is that
cyberpunk existed before Gibson but Gibson seperated it from Science
Fiction and made it a genre unto itself. But that's just a guess ...
Maybe some of you literary history buffs can correct me or back me up...
