Kevin Smith (The guy in my .sig). I believe he said it cost 28K total.

Trivia: Why were the shutters on the store windows stuck shut?

Answer: Kevin filmed most of the movie at night after the store closed, so
having the windows always covered hid that fact. He also worked in the
store during the day, and was attending college (The film was a college
project.) He plays "Silent Bob". His new movie Armageddon is being worked
on at the moment, and guess who plays "God" in it? Alanis Morisette.

Has he changed the name of his film? I was under the impression that
the fourth film was to be called "Dogma". (If it is called Armageddon,
there will be a bit of confusion with it coming out so soon on the
heels of Bruce Willis' asteroid flick this summer, sinc that is also
called Armageddon.)

It has been a month since I've visited www.viewaskew.com, so I suppose
my information is a bit out of date. Other juicy rumors I'd heard
about film four of the now ill-named New Jersey Trilogy include the
fact that Chris Rock will be playing the 13th Apostle, and that Silent
Bob will _sing_ the "Fat Albert" theme song.

ObShadowRN: Do you think Jay and Silent Bob would be chip pushers in
205X? IMHO, as soon as BTL comes out as the new high, I think they'd
be switched over to silicon faster than Walt Flannagan's Dog.

My bad. I was thinking of the plot, which I'ev heard to be summed up as an
"Armageddon themed comedy." AFAIK, it's still Dogma.

Absolutely. Well, Jay would be the pusher, Silent Bob the Silent Pusher. <g>

Well, that was a great attempt to bring it ontopic. Probably best to let
this die now..
