Can somebody(s) out there give a fairly complete convention list for a year?
Just hypothetical, nothing definiative. Roughly where Dragon-, Gen-, and
Comic-con are located and when they take place in the year. And if you
could throw in some of the smaller to medium sized ones too, that would be
good.

Major Cons: There are probably 5 major cons. 2 of these are RPG oriented, one sci-fi,
and 2 comic oriented.

Gen Con -- Biggest of the game cons. Takes place early August in Milwaukee, untill 2003,
when it moves to Indianalpolis. (August 2-5 this year)

Origins -- Game Convention, home of the Origins Awards in gaming. Located in Columbus,
Ohio, held in early July. (July 5-8 this year)

Dragon-Con -- Sci-Fi conventiob, held in Atlanta, usually held end of August/Early Sept.
(Aug 31-Sept2)

San Diego Comic-Con -- Held in San Diego, usually early August.

Wizard World -- Formerly the Chicago Comic-Con, usually held mid to late August. (Aug
17-19)

As you can see, they all tend to be grouped around July and August, unfortunately. makes
it hard to attend all the shows.

This site: http://oeonline.oeonline.com/~dolphin2/ Will help get you started on some of
the other game conventions and sites for listing conventions.

Good luck :]
