Actually, I'm a little surprised that no one else has mentioned this.
Gaming circles I came from usually had at least one yo-yo that tried to
create Remo and/or Chiun in whatever system they were playing, including the
last SR group I actually had the opportunity to play in.

This particular USAF nickname of mine has stuck around for the past decade,
though; I got it by bringing in a paper sack with all the Destroyer novels
to date (I think there were 81 at the time) so I could have something to
read over some very boring 12-hour midnight shifts. (Your tax dollars at
work, neh?)

i know what thats like (being an ex-usaf person, and a destroyer reader
as well)...

off topic, i hope the new destroyer semi-trilogy is much better than the
last few books...
