SPOILER SPACE (just to be sure, nothiung down there is officially canon,
AFAIK. It's from the novels. Except that part from Harlequin's Back:)

Yes. Horrors, if the Dragonheart Trilogy by Jak Koke is to be believed (29,
31, 33). There, Darke (from Harlequins Back) works for the Azzies (or the
other way around, actually), and tries to complete the Bridge. Anything
changed with YotC? In the books, there is also a drake (I think, don't have
YotC))

i would also add that "our ancient enemy" could be Verjigorm himself
(itself?). for those unfamilliar with earthdawn mythology, Verijigorm
is the granddaddy of all horrors, who has a ancient grudge against
the great dragons and specifically hunts them. plus, if the great
dragons are to believed (yeah, right), Verjigorm is the
father/mother of all horrors, including the first great dragon, who
then went on to produce the first members of all the name-giver
races. but that's just according to the great dragons, belive at your
own risk.
