We call those people "Wankers" here in Australia.

You either like something or you don't.
It's shouldn't matter a flying f*%k if it's
popular or not.

The funny thing that I note is that "alternative"
is now "mainstream". So does that mean that
the people that you know are now going to
start listening to Bee Gees and Eagles records
in an attempt to be more "alternative". It's worth
a thought :)

As scary of a thought that *that* is? Not really, IMO :)

Older Eagles I can understand (their older stuff is actually better
than their new stuff), but the *BeeGees*???????

I think I'm gonna go hide somewhere safe from that concept......I
dunno if Gurth's stairs are bad-disco-proof, so I'll hide with the
headbangers or the goths ;)

(who absolutely can't stand the BeeGees.....)

Actually I don't remember much of it (I'm not that old) but the Bee Gee's
were pretty good before they went Disco.

You obviously haven't been exposed to the horrors of the whole "easy
listening / lounge" phenomenon. Burt Baccarat is like, SO cutting edge....

Let's put it like this: disco's not exactly my favorite music :) (There's
U2, Tori Amos, and Tilt in my CD player right now.)
