Correct. I never said that the 18k bomb could be mounted
on a strike aircraft. :) IIRC it's simply a huge
cylindrical tube packed with explosives. (I don't
know what explosive filler is used, but I'm pretty
sure it is something more efficient than simple
TNT.) The C-130 can carry it, as can the B-52. I
would assume the B-1 and B-2 could carry it as
well, but I don't know that for sure. In Vietnam
they were dropped by C-130s and B-52s, and in
DS I believe it was dropped by a C-130.
