Magic was mentioned in the qabbalah (See Kenson's old article on
different magic types).
I don't see any particular religion having "extra" knowledge of
cybermancy. Most would probably frown on it. Cyberware hasn't
been around that long, and wasn't around at all during the last
age. (I'm guessing). The theoretical knowledge of binding a soul
may have been used in other methods and then applied to cyberware.
(As talked about in Cybertech).

This sounds like something the good folks in azzie land would do to
control one of the cyberzombies they like to create. Thing is the math
would probally be like a great deal of the math you used for the new
rigger
rules
