If you have a chance pick up Shadowland #5. It has an article written
by a "Gurth," and there can hardly be two. Can there?

I don't see why it couldn't, an unlikely occurrence if it is someone
else, but certainly nothing impossible. After all, "any fool could call
himself Death." (Robert Jordan, _A Crown of Swords_) :):) (btw
Gurth=gurthuÞath, Sindarin Lexicon, I think:)

That was me, yeah...

But if you do a search for "gurth" on the WWW, you'll find a number of
people whose email addresses I could give out to anyone with a bad
attitude who's looking for me :)

It could have been someone else, except that I clearly remember writing
that article :)

Actually, IIRC the list in the back of the Silmarillion leaves off the
last U.

I have the same problem *grin* - there are about 3 other people on the
net who misspell Jester in the same silly way I do; as fara as I know, I
started it though.

Isn't that annoying? Our gaming group had a short stint in a super-hero
game (V&V in case anyone knows or cares what that is). I wanted to come up
with a unique name for my superhero. I went through about 20 until I gave
up and stopped. One of the other gamers was a big comics fan, and every
name I came up with..."Nope, spidey fought him few years back....nope that
was one of cap's sidekicks....nope...that was golaith before he was ant man
before he was..."

Shadowrun is almost as bad. A lot of good names are already taken up. So I
sometimes pick a name nobody else would want (like Camel - who has Special
Skill: Hocking Lugeys, with extended volume lungs).

I got mine out of one of the Lost Tales books, where they included the
"u":)
