What I would be looking forward to is a sourcebook about the Seattle
Underground (you know, the area under Downtown, populated by orks,
trolls, and a very small number of dwarves). So far, the only things I
know about it come from the old SR1 rulebook (which gives the approximate
location on a map), the info in SR2 and Seattle Sourcebook, plus one of
the novels (Never Trust An Elf, I think). It would be good to get a
sourcebook with all the details.

Not too smart. If the guy to whose leg you nail it has a mage friend,
that mage can simply throw a Fireball through it, which will fry you
through the same astral link you were planning to use to keep track of
where the lock was...

I don't have DNA/DOA, so I don't know. But now you mention it, I believe
the FASA catalog says it takes the players through the Underground. Maybe
I should buy it sometime...wasn't DNA/DOA the first official SR adventure
that came out? If it is, it probably is like Mercurial, right (which I
found a pain in the ass to run, compared to the other SR adventures)?

Aw, hey, you're picking on my two favorite modules.

DNA/DOA was written to be a D&Dish run. On purpose too. I've run it a
couple of times, and will again.

Mercurial was the second, and the silver lady module is my favorite one
of all. Convoluted, tricky, everything. I try to write modules like
that, myself.

You're talking about Kham and his quest for Ork Immortality? I must
agree that the Seattle Underground would be quite cool.

Only if the Fireball was cast through Ritual Sorcery using the Spell
Lock as a link to the tracker. The creator of the lock would be vulnerable
to astral tracking as well.

ATTENTION: Possible spoiler DNA/DOA

At this point you're absolutely right. DNA/DOA was written by a D&D
co-autor, you can imagine what its like. It has RANDOM ENCOUNTER TABLES
with GIANT MILLIPEDES and stuff like that. I felt like in 'Against the
storm giants'. The plot isn't something special. It's us against the
bad, bad humanis slugs.

But: Potential GM fun. Attack on an Aztech Bio-Lab and the only way
in is through (possibly) infested sewers. After the run, tell PCs that
their skin is itching and turns to light green and look on their faces.
That was a good laugh.
