Subject: (OT)IRC-London down???

Erm, just a question, Is there anyone out there who can explain to me why I cant
connect to the UK, London server for IRC-chats (guess why;o))? I tryed it
yesterday and today, but there is no connecting possible. Is the server down or
what? Also I am not quite sure wether this is due to my new Winny 95 install or
not (gotta love Billy Boy G.) but it seemed to me that the other IRC (at least
one I tried) run smoothly.
Well, if ynyone has information, you know there you can find my replyadress.

There are lots of reasons why you can't connect to a server - none of
which I'm going to bother going into here. Now, you're using a Windows 95
platform, so I'm going to assume you're using mIRC or PIRCH. If you're not
then I suggest you download one of them and work it out from there.
Anyway... With IRC you don't have to connect to the closest server (Hell,
I'm in Australia and I go through Vancouver or Dallas most days). Just
keep trying Undernet servers until one of them allows you to log on, then
join #shadowrun and add to the mayhem. \=)
If you've got any other problems, email me privately - most likely I can
help you out.

Thanks for the help, I just got connected thanks through routing through another
Server, but earlier today when I wrote this it did not (shroug).
Uh, BTW, I did know that these FAQ are worth for something, should have read
them a bit more precise ;o)
And thanks for the help to all of the list after reinstaling my system, but that
story would be more OT than this already is.
