Linux is libre, not necessarily gratis, that many people may it available
gratis.

Yeah but Linux is the kernel, not the apps. :)

Of course, if you want their kernel (Linux) for free just ask someone that
has it to give you a copy. They are allowed to do that. GPL = Help your
neighbor, on your terms. :)

Note: Some applications in Linspire may not be free software. While I have
issues with non-free software in general, I do NOT condone the "pirating"
(copyright infringement) of software.
