Erhm... typical? As a scot I'm trying to work out what the typical
accent is. The weggie accent is certainly *stereo*typical :)
Actually, I'm curious as to what is the specific thing it is about an
accent people find incomprehensible. Is it the dialect or the actual
accent?
I have found that when talking to people they find the greatest
difficulty in working out the words that I am using. The other time
people have difficulty with my accent is when I'm a tad under the
afluence of incohol. But that is mainly cause the speed goes up a bit!
