I'm having trouble getting my Shadowrun email to go into the right folder.
I'm using Outlook Express, and I've tried all sorts of combinations to try
to get it to work. All my other filters work fine. Any clues?

What are you using to trigger your filter? I have mine (not outlook
tho') set to filter if the "to or cc" contains "shadowrn or shadowrn
(at) lists.dumpshock.com" The (at) being @.

Also, placement of your filter in your list of filters may be
affecting it's function.

August 8 I just read this post called make money fast. I'm so
exited. I'm going to make lots of money. I followed his
instructions and posted it to every newsgroup I could find.

Handy tip: filter on "shadowrn@" instead of the whole address. This
prevents filtering problems should the address change -- such as when the
list moved from shadowrn@*********.com to shadowrn@*****.dumpshock.com
recently.

Wrong mailer.

Select another mailer.

Or if you absolutely need to use this, well, thing: select a rule that says
"when the 'to:' or the 'cc:' header contains
'shadowrn@*****.dumpshock.com' apply this filter"

That actually didn't affect my filtering, probably because I also
filter on shadowrn as well. But it's a good tip, I may try that on a
couple of other filters that hiccup from time to time.

The reason to include the @ is because some lists (especially Yahoogroups
ones) use variations on the name for certain other addresses, and if you
don't want those filtered into the mailbox as well, you can avoid it like
this.
