| |Did you know you can test your sig file by mailing a message to
| |yourself? I spammed the list a couple of times doing the same thing

|
| Ahhh, but it's not QUITE that simple with some mailers...
|
| On this one, you get a local .sig, and a remote .sig.
| (Local .sigs for other adresses on this system, Remote for off system
| addresses. So, to test my remote .sig, I'd have to e-mail someone OFF
| campus...)
Nope :) I've got ELM to. Your local.sig gets used if the To: address is
a local system alias, like To: davidb. The remote.sig is used if the To:
address has an extension, like To: dbuehrer@****.org. So, if you send a
message to yourself using the nickname you'll get to see how your
local.sig looks. If you send a message to yourself using your full email
address you'll get to see how the remote.sig looks. At least that's how
ELM works on my system.
