Well yeah. FASA Interactive owned the domain, and MS bought them.

Figured that, but I'm still sick about it. :)

And if I were FASA, I wouldn't have let it go.

You do know you can find out who owns a domain name by
checking out Network Solutions' site...
http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois

or at Developer's Choice
http://www.developerschoice.net/
Who does webhosting pretty cheap. It's who I do my
site through. www.sova.net I know most of the guys at
the office and they just started registering domain
names for less than what NSI does.

Shadowrunning is open...

I think the intent was for shadowrun.com to support the (now cancelled)
Shadowrun computer game.

It's about time we got a SR computer game, I think. How cool would it be if
you were in the seat of a fixer, and you chose your operatives, and shared
out the karma as you saw fit, as well as picking and choosing team members
for different runs.

Personally, I'd rather go on runs. As long as the objective wasn't to take down
the corps or beat back the Horrors or other such nonsense. Give me a game where
the objective is to get a certain amount of money and reputation.
