Not really a comfortable situation that one.

I also GM for players who are my GM in other games, but we never had any
problems with it so far. We tend to keep all games strictly separated.

As long as your GMing is fair it shouldn't really matter what the
consequences are for the characters, because ultimately the character
brought it onto himself and things will/can be straightened out (at
least that's the way we are handling things).

Just my thoughts,

-sven ;)

Oh, I'm not the GM this time, Sven - and even when I
am, I don't have problems staying fair.

I just sometimes have pleasant daydreams involving his
drones and weapons of mass destruction. ;)

Apologies for the misunderstanding, never wanted to question the
fairness of GMing just to share my experiences :)

Got a small remedy for that one. From time to time I let my players
have a short preview of some pages in the lonestar sourcebook.
Usually it helps to keep my players on the edge and shortly after the
runs tend to be more low-profile :))

just my thoughts,

-sven ;)
